121130-N-YO707-845 MEDITERRANEAN SEA (Nov. 30, 2012) Marines assigned to the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (24th MEU) conduct fast-rope drills from a CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter aboard the amphibious transport dock ship USS New York (LPD 21). New York is part of the Iwo Jima Amphibious Ready Group with the embarked 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (24th MEU) and is currently deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of responsibility. SIGNALING POSITION OF USS GEORGE H. W. BUSH AIRCRAFT CARRIER
ATLANTIC OCEAN (April 30, 2012) Quartermaster 3rd Class Jason X. Pabon prepares to signal the position of the aircraft carrier USS George H.W. Bush (CVN 77) to the Military Sealift Command dry cargo and ammunition ship USNS Lewis and Clark (T-AKE 1) during an ordnance transfer. George H.W.
